Go to UW Bookstore and buy a copy of the
"Physics 123 Laboratory Manual Autumn 2009" (for 123) or
"Physics 119 Laboratory Manual Autumn 2009" (for 119).
Then read the front matter.
It explains the course structure, grades and policies.
Get a WebAssign account.
You will need this for the labs as well as the lectures,
and there are separate charges for each.
Depending on your course, there may be different ways to
pay for WebAssign access:
The login for WebAssign is
https://www.webassign.net/washington/login.html
Click the "login" button and log in with your UW Net ID.
The classes that you are registered for should appear when you get onto
the site. You have a grace period of
2 weeks past the start of term to use WebAssign without paying.
There is a brief tutorial on how to get started with
WebAssign
